Our Pledge Class had a great time at KD
 

Once again, our chapter has another reason to love KD....this is a thread totally opposite to the disrespected thread I did.

Every Wednesday, our new members go to a sorority house to interview some of the sisters there. Last night they went to KD.

They were welcomed by some sisters just hanging around the house (one of whom I think is EXTREMELY hot). So, even though we don't have the best relations with other greeks, and our pledge class is one of the smaller ones among IFC, they were welcomed inside, and got to hang out with them for a little while. They passed out roses to the sisters who were there, and interviewed most of them. As a "souvenir" of sorts, the ladies gave them a copy of their 01-02 composite, and took a picture with our pledge class. They also got a gift I kinda can't mention here.

I know none of them will probably read this, but I think it's great that my pledges had a fun time there yesterday, and I just wanted to thank Kappa Delta SDSU for being one of the few houses that doesn't look down on us.

It's great to bounce back from that misunderstanding a week ago. I just hope the other houses they go to will be just as kind as KD was.

I've found lately that even those sororities who have "high" stature among greek life are very sweet people. I have good friends in KD, ZTA, Tri-Delt, and ADPi, which are viewed as the top sororities on campus. They are the sweetest people I know, and not at all snobby, as my impression always was before "going greek" myself. I know I'm impartial, but I think sorority women are just trained very well that you are nice to everyone, because noone's any less of a person than the other. And I hold the belief that it's not the letter that makes the person, but the person who makes the letter. So glad that you had a great experience with KD, I know I love my KD friends here, and I think they're some of the sweetest women I know.

Yeah!!! After hearing your well-reasoned gripes about socializing, I'm so pleased that everyone had a great time with a sorority! Especially because it was with my sisters! Whooo!!!

As I'm sure people have already told you, all it takes is hanging out with one group....then another will follow, and so on and so on......until your schedule is packed!

SDSU KD's have always been great members. I know, I am a KD from SDSU back when....:rolleyes:
