Out of the blue emails...
 

Advice please. So my roomie and I got sucked in and paid for the classmates.com thing. My big is listed on there. We haven't spoken since shortley after I left Maryland a long time ago. What would you do if you got an email out of the blue from someone that you may have had some resentment/hard feelings about? Would you respond, ignore, be nasty? I honestly do miss her and every time I look at my scrapbook I get very sentimental. Should I try contacting her?

I am much better at being a listener, rather than giving advice, but if I were in your situation, I would definitely e-mail her. What do you have to lose? Best of luck with your decision.

Please, please email her. If you can't clear things up like this then at least you know you tried. You might be surprised and get a warm response back.

Worst that could happen is she either tells you that she doesn't want to talk to you or doesn't reply.

I have gotten a few "out of the blue" emails over the years. One was from a my best friend from college, but some really weird/bad stuff happened between us and we didn't speak for quite a long time. Her email was all fluffy "Hi howya doin'" type stuff (not addressing any of the serious crap) and I just never responded. I thought a lot about it, though, and if our situation wasn't so weird, I would have at least said hi.

not too long ago, I emailed a guy that had some videos of us thatone of his brothers filmed. (WE weren't having SEX, but doing other stuff Sorry for TMI). I asked him to please get rid of them bc I may be going back to that school and if those videos get out they could reallyruin my rep and my sorority's rep. He replied and informed me that he had gotten rid of them. he said that he has changed alot and that isn't the kind of person he is and he doesn't want to be known like that. He told me to drop him a line if I ever felt like it. I believe that he hasgotten rid of the videos bc when I was hanging out with him he would never respond to emails even when they related to our group project. I'm glad that i emailed him bc he 1) did email me back 2) and wasn't a jerk at all 3) I can relax and not worry about the videos anymore.
