It's a bit late but might as well make an SMU thread!

Mandatory PNM ORIENTATION & Open house round - Wednesday AUGUST 27, 2025 (All houses visited)
Philanthropy Days 1 & 2 - August 29 & 30 (Max of 6 houses)
Sisterhood Day - August 31 (Max of 4 houses)
Preference Day - September 1 Labor day (Max of 2 houses)
Bid Night! - September 2

The Daily Campus newspaper published a recruitment story on Sept. 19. Mostly fluff, but there was one nugget of information:
"About 800 women are participating in the recruitment process this fall, compared to the average of 575 in previous years, according to SMU Panhellenic Council Recruitment."

They lost two chapters in a brief period of time when they already needed more (and only added one). Is there any prospect of getting more houses there?

There are currently only 7 chapters (ADPI went on right after Gamma Phi Beta closed). Theta is due to return Fall 26, the University was finally able to disband "the Society". I understand that ZTA still owns their house (and I would imagine that Gamma Phi does also) so maybe one of them will come on after Theta.

Oh that’s great the Theta is going to (hopefully) come back! They’re also returning to the university of Michigan in the spring.

I could imagine if ADPI does well and theta has a successful return (which is very likely.) they could bring in another house potentially. I do remember Aphi also presented when they opened up.
