“Follow your heart”. Cute sentiment. Terrible strategy.

The heart is emotional, impulsive, and easily distracted by things like charm, or nostalgia. The brain, on the other hand? Well, she thinks things through. She sees the pattern.

I’ll take logic with a touch of intuition over emotional chaos any day.
