Archived some posts...
 

Just in case anyone noticed and was wondering where around 1000 posts from the "What do you feel like saying, right now?" thread went and 600 or so posts from the "Song name game" thread, they are temporarily archived.

This was to bring those threads back down below 1000 posts so they don't inadvertently cause the site/database to slow down.

As with the previously archived threads & posts, these will be moved back into the forums once the server/software can handle them.

By the way, as a reminder, don't let this cause anyone to post less on GC thinking it will cause problems. No problem at all. And the archiving is only temporary as this will only be an issue until the software is changed.

Nah, not a bad thing necessarily. This forum software just doesn't seem to run well when there are some threads with approximately more than 1,000 posts. I've just been archiving some of the older posts from larger threads like that until we are on forum software that can handle large threads better. Once the software can handle it better I'll bring those old posts back from being archived.
