Here’s a fun article I found about the colleges attended by the Miss Alabamas, from AL. Com:

Slightly off-topic: wasn't one of GC's GPhiB members related to, or closely know, the current Miss America Madison Marsh (who represented Colorado in the pageant, but is from Arkansas). Can't seem to locate last year's post.

Is there a date set for this year's contest?

Miss America 2025 post

Here is the post with the state winners. For some reason, it was very hard to find the winners of these state contests and I doubt I've found all of them.

Miss Georgia represented our town and is a fairly recent Haitian immigrant!

I am the aunt of Miss Colorado 2021, Maura Spence - before her buddy Madison won the whole thing! And Maura is a Gamma Phi Beta! https://www.houstonchronicle.com/nei...W5zvhw2C8JCGgg

The Miss America fb page recently listed two new areas of Onstage Talent that will be allowed during the Miss America and Miss America Teen competitions: ballroom dancing, and cheerleading.

Each Miss America/Teen contestant's performance is still limited to 90 seconds. If used as a prop, a partner is limited to one non-competing person per contestant and each non-competator must wear an all black outfit. Solo performances by partner props are not allowed.

How many months until a ballroom dancing Miss America Pageant competitor ends up on Dancing With The Stars....

I will never forget when Miss South Carolina clogged and WON. My husband almost threw up.

Not sure if it matters, but for Miss Tennessee, the name of her school is Middle Tennessee State University, not Middle Tennessee University of

Miss Alabama - aka Miss America is an Alpha Gam from our Auburn chapter!

Miss New York and Miss Missouri were both Alpha Gams also: Abby Quammen and Ashley Berry respectively

Wow, I wasn't even aware the Pageant was being held tonight. Their lack of national tv exposure can't be doing them any financial favors. I used to enjoy ordering their yearly program booklet, but for the past few years they haven't offered it.

ETA: I read tonight in Fran's Miss America 2025 Contestants blog that Miss Texas is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho, not Sigma Kappa as listed in the first post here.
