Where do you get your FSL news?
Hi all - just curious to learn where people get their news about FSL.
- Primarily what you see shared online? - Do you have saved or specific searches in Google/Bing/DuckDuckGo/etc.? - Do you follow certain professionals/accounts/blogs/sites? - Do you rely mostly on GreekChat? All ideas are helpful. Thanks! |
For the most part, I simply stumble upon news that's thrown at me when I visit Google through the browser on my phone. The site predicts what I'm interested in based on clicks and searches, so the articles come from a multitude of sources.

Like ASTalumna06, I mostly get my Greek news from what comes across on regular media channels. That's typically "controversial" news such as a hazing death, some other type of allegation, and sometimes "nice" news about a chapter that did something uplifting for the community. GreekChat provides the rest. For GC, it's typically campus and chapter-level news that wouldn't normally have any reason to see traction in the mainstream news (chapter closures, trends at a particular campus, new policies being placed by national councils, etc).

I like Fraternity/Sorority Newsfeed on Facebook: Click here

On Facebook through the BlackOrgs.net Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/BlackOrgs
And through Fran Becque's Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/378663535503786 I also get articles in my Google feed on my phone, of the kind that Navane said. |
In terms of national news I mainly go to the Tri Delta site, and if it regards various schools, their FSL pages.
For other news I turn here. |

Thanks all, appreciate the insight thus far.

Private groups and friendships. Reddit has more news than anyone can process and it is a lot more active and current than greekchat, if you can stand the craziness and overload. Also, Google alerts.
