A different kind of Pink...
 

Just an observation...

I'd never really gotten too into Pink when she first came out.. And even when she'd been out and "developing her sound" for a while.. But tonight I stumbled upon some lyrics to her not released songs and they were very...easy to connect with.. So I downloaded the songs.. Most of them sound nothing like the Pink you hear on the radio and see on tv...So I highly recommend downloading them... Just a thought for those of you who's train of thought is going down the same track as mine....

Oh yes I do know what you mean. The last two releases have been great and really raw. I'm coming up or whatever that song was was really a desperate attempt at pop stardom. I put it in the same mindless category as that song It's getting hot in here. I mean what? How long did that take?

As far as pop music goes -- at least for me I'm a sincere believer of once fake, always fake.

However the lyrics connect with you just proves how well they're utilizing focus groups for your demographic.

Not saying you're enjoying it is wrong... that's just how I feel.. So enjoy her stuff.

I like her new song (the one about lying on the floor). I also liked the other one that came out slightly before that (something about people hating her and she can't do nothing right). LOL! Goes to show you I don't follow pink, but I do think she's got some catchy songs.

Just a side note here...The song(s) I was referencing in particular are related to focus groups in any demographic....They're songs about wanting your family to get back together, feeling like you caused your parents divorce, and being miserable about it...

Have you heard her "rap" song?? It cracks me up.. It's called.. Um.. Crap... I forget!!! LOL
