Greek Citizenship
 

Hello -

I am new to the forum and am hoping someone can assist me with my endeavor to obtain my Greek citizenship as my father was born in Greece. First, I'd like to obtain his birth certificate, but have been unsuccessful in locating a vital records website for Greece. Also, the consulate in Chicago has not been helpful in any way. Any information would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

I'm afraid that you have the wrong type of Greek. This is a forum for members of college Greek Letter Societies.

Have you tried the local Greek Orthodox church? I know the one here has resources for immigrants.
