Joining Graduate Chapter
Hello,
If I joined a sorority in Undergrad, Can I join a different graduate chapter? (For example, If I pledged Sigma Kappa Undergrad, can I pledge Aka in grad school?) |
We've been told that the NPHC groups don't pledge people who joined an NPC group and vice versa.

You asked us this exact same question a couple of times this past December 2021. The answers haven't changed. Quote:

Thank you for answering the question. However, I believe I asked a different question because this one is about pledging at the graduate level. Thank you for the explanation. Sorry if I bothered you. |

You're welcome. As we explained before, your best course of action is to contact the national headquarters of Alpha Kappa Alpha directly to see if your circumstances are within their membership guidelines. They will be best placed to assist you. Best wishes.

I guess I'm going to be the one to ask.
Why? |

Why? Is there no loyalty or connection to the organization for which she already belongs? |
When your friend was initiated into Sigma Kappa, she most likely pledge her loyalty for life. Her membership is exclusive and for a lifetime. She can not join another organization. So it doesn't matter if you or your friend want to switch streams as an undergraduate or a graduate student-you nor she can do so.

My mom joined a club where they all wore red hats. That might be an option.
