Le mew!

Happy Valentine's Day to you as well, and all the GCers out there!

Thank you ladies! Happy Valentine’s Day to ALL our fellow Greek Chatters!

I was thinking earlier today of my elementary school days when we took empty shoe boxes to school and decorated them with construction paper cut outs. Our teacher would cut a slit in the lid where we deposited our little dime store Valentines for each other.
Such HAPPY INNOCENT memories….makes me smile!

I remember doing the same all throughout elementary school PGD-GRAD; fun times :) . Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

A bit late, but Happy February 14th to fellow gcers! The best thing is a few local stores still sell packages of larger versions of those throwback kiddie valentines. I enjoy purchasing them, and mailing them to siblings and older friends.

My son is in 5th grade and he had a valentine's box made to look like a toilet.

Yes, great memories! My mother was a Classroom Mom, and she once put a box on a little red wagon to make it look like a postal truck. Everybody loved it, and took turns pulling it from desk to desk. She was very creative!

To be honest, I find the Pepe Le Pew cartoons today to be almost as problematic as Little Black Sambo. Talk about the *definition* of someone who doesn't take *HELL NO* for an answer. The *only* reason it isn't completely cringeworthy is that in the cartoons, the cat with a painted stripe isn't actually saying *HELL NO*, only "playing hard to get" since she isn't voiced.
