RUsh at Mercer?????
 

Anyone know how Rush at Mercer went? They have Phi Mu, Chi-O, ADPi, and AGD. I think AGD took 24 and CHI-O took 27,but how did the other houses do? I looked at the website and it looked like Phi Mu only took 2. That can't be right. What was total?quota? I noticed a bunch of Juniors and some senoirs got bids-awesome!
Did anyone go throught that rush? what was it like?

I keep hearing that it went great but no details.

That can't be right about Phi Mu! They're always hugely in demand at Mercer. Where are you seeing that? All I can find on the site is where Chi O and AGD have listed their pledges.

I don't think they've listed new members, except for Chi Omega. I know that Phi Mu and ADPi haven't listed them yet, but maybe AGD has.

I just pm'd a Mercer sister, and asked her to give us the scoop. Hope she gets the message soon, because I think rush has been over for quite a while now.

who is big at Mercer?
 

I know that all orgs. are different and all that, but who is considered best there? What reps do the orgs have? My little sister wants to go there and rush next year and she'll join who she likes and not worry about popularity (I wish I was more open minded when I rushed) but what are they like? Like at my school the ADPi's are the really smart ones, the DZ's are the funnest, the KD's are all really hot,but none of the guys like having socials with them b/c they're a bit snobby, the Alpha Gams aren't really popular among the greeks but they have like the best sisterhood. When I see them out they look like they are having the best time. There is never any drama at their house.Chi-O are the jocks and beat everyones but at intramurals....you know what I mean. Whats is like at Mercer?

To answer my own question, Alpha Delta Pi at Mercer DID make quota (of 27)! Woo Hoo! Thanks, BetaSigBabe, for the update!

I find it hard to believe that either Phi Mu or ADPi would have a bad rush at Mercer, especially considering that they were both founded in Macon, Georgia.

I was just thinking about the amount of ancient ADPis & Phi Mus spinning in their graves if their respective chapters didn't make quota at Mercer!! Especially since our first/Alpha chapters no longer exist, due to a change in policy at Georgia Weslyan!

You're far from the first person to wonder about initials like that. As for Georgia Wesleyan, they do have two rooms dedicated & decorated for Alpha Delta Pi and Phi Mu. One of these days when I have some time to tell a story, I'll recount my experience in trying to visit the Adelphean Room! :D

...a good or bad experience? I would be interested to hear it...I have been to the ADPi Hqtrs here in Atlanta -- for Panhel event -- I think it'd be cool to live in the same town/city where your Nat'l Hqtrs is located (but I really do NOT want to live where Gamma Phi's Hqtrs is in Colorado Springs! Too cold!)
