Your ritual in another language?

Has your fraternity's or sorority's ritual been performed in another language? If so, does the ritual have an official translation into that language? And if so, how was that translation approved?

For these purposes, American Sign Language *definitely* counts.

Note, for Alpha Phi Omega, I'm still trying to get the answers, as we had a chapter active at Gallaudet for about a decade. We also have chapters in Puerto Rico and at one point we had an extension effort at McGill.

That's an interesting question for an AOII to answer, as they've had an International President from their McGill chapter.

I know of a KKG chapter that has performed the ritual in French, though I don't know if it was written down in French or if they simply translated as they went as they are Francophiles. I believe our chapter at McGill uses the English as the language of the university is English despite being in Montreal. I've never seen any of it written in any language other than English or Greek.

Although, when on break during Work Week once, I remember that a lot of us Spanish majors tried to sing a pref night song in Spanish for fun, simply because we're nerds.

Yes, our fraternity at one point started translating things into French for a possible extension to McGill, but was told that that wouldn't be needed. Curious as to what KKG chapter, McGill is the only one they've chartered in Quebec.(two in Ontario, one each in Manitoba and BC)

Would have loved to have heard it. :)
