Some thoughts: Both parents went to OU and were part of Greek Life. Both had a really positive experience and didn’t think anything even remotely close to what happens to their son would happen. This seems to be a common theme among some of these parents who were Greek themselves. Have things gotten this much worse? Parents see red flags, but don’t realize the extent of the problem “Brothers” TOTALLY went into CYA mode and just threw the kid under the bus...saying he made his own decisions, wasn’t a part of the chapter anymore, etc. it’s like they had no value for him as a person and friend and were only looking out for themselves. It is very insightful... |

The part with the funeral procession made me cry. My heart also breaks for Brinley because even though they weren’t technically together, it’s got to be so horrible to lose your first love like this.
