New Kappa Delta to Greek Chat
 

I have lurked on this site for a while and finally decided to join in on the discussion. A little about me, I am a KD and was initiated at UCLA in the late 90s. I live in Northern CA where the alumni association is nonexistent. I have attended a couple of Panhellenic events in my area and was the only KD represented. I wish to reconnect with KD as an organization and the greek community. I have however been able to stay in touch with some of my sisters through social media. I look forward to chatting with all of you!

I am an initiate of Rho Chapter (University of Wyoming). Daughter of a Kappa Delta (Beloit) and mom of a Kappa Delta (Northwestern).

I have fond memories of touring your UCLA chapter house back in 1981, with a good friend who is an alumna of your chapter.

I don't post much here, but I am usually reading Greek Chat every day. Hope you enjoy it!

Thank you KD sisters for the warm welcome! I reached out to HQ for the second time in almost a year to try and get my local alumni chapter up and running again but I feel like the response I have received is hardly enthusiastic.
I read a thread On Greek Chat asking where you would like to see more of your sorority chapters, and I agree with the poster who said we need more KD chapters in California! I have friends who were in sororities and now it is their daughters are rushing and KD hasn’t been an option.
