New TV Show Based on the Life of Alpha Gam

From Alpha Gam website! So cool! :D

New TV Show Based on the Life of Alpha Gam
“Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye”, an original drama television series premiering Sunday, October 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on PAX TV, is inspired by the true story of Sue Thomas, Alpha Lambda-Ohio State University. Sue, who has been profoundly deaf since the age of 18 months, overcame significant obstacles to work in surveillance for the F.B.I.

“Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye” stars Deanne Bray a severely deaf actress who, like Sue, was encouraged by her parents at a young age to speak and read lips. This is the first television show about the real life experiences and career of a deaf person. The show aims to provide entertainment to not only hearing audiences but also the more than 28 million deaf and hard of hearing individuals in the United States.

Sue said about the new show, “Finally, audiences will be able to gain a deeper understanding and respect for the individuals who walk the path of silence.”

That is very cool (about the show and its Alpha Gam connection)!

Red and Buff Roses to Sue Thomas! :)

Totally Awesome!

I just happened to hear the ad on the radio on the way home today. I'll have to be sure to watch or tape.

Too bad "Sue" can't wear a squirrel pin, lol! ;) :D

I dont have cable or tv yet...Can some one tape it and send me a copy? I will pay for the tape and shipping????

I watched and taped it last night so that I could flip between that and the Practice (something I never watch but I wanted to see what the big finale was.)

Anyway, I loved Sue's show!! I just wanna know if the hunky FBI agent was as cute as the one in the show and if anything "happened" between them! ;) :D

I don't think it ever mentioned that she went to college. Maybe that will come out in a different episode. One thing that was different was that the IHQ story said that she was deaf at 18 months. On the TV show, she looked like she was about 5 or 6.

I'll tape it Sunday but it will also have other stuff on it since I'm going to Va for a few days!

Wendy, perhaps one of the Mu's can tape it for you.

In tonight's episode of "Sue Thomas FB Eye" her co-workers referred her as a squirrel! She then wiggled her nose and lips like a squirrel.

I think that PAX might also rebroadcast the show on Friday nights. I was in Va Friday and happened to catch the 1st episode again!

:D

AGD Colors

Okay, I know that this is a stretch (so what else is new, lol). But I finally watched the episode that Lisa watched.

At the end of the show when they are walking into their new apt., did you notice that the colors "appeared" to be red (reddish-brown door), yellow (or maybe white) kitchen and green hallway. ;)

If not, guess my TV is trained to show AGD colors! :D

It is a terrific show. I'd watch it anyway without knowing that Sue is a fantastic AGD!

Best of luck to our Sue and the show's Sue!

LiEP,
Lynn
