Details on New Chapter
Hi! I've wanted to join a sorority for so long and have been continuously denied by the current chapters on campus (why? I have no idea. I am an outgoing, friendly, popular, involved, and well-rounded student.)
Anyway, i heard through the grape vine today that DDD is coming to my school. I was curious, how can I affirm this rumor? Do any of you have a list of chapters that are emerging in the spring? Also, how does one go about becoming a charter member of DDD? As someone who is fed up with other groups on campus, I would welcome the chance to offer a fresh perspective to people, like myself, who have been shut out by our school's current greek system. A sorority is a chance to not only meet people that are both like and different from myself, but also an oppurtunity to foster a sense of community among some of the female students, a quality which I have always envied in other groups. Any advice or answers will be greatly apprectiated. Hopefully, I will be in a position to learn more about the sisters of DDD and the organization as well. Keep your fingers crossed! |
New Colony Questions
Hi Jan, You might want to have a look at this thread. It is about a new Delta Gamma colony, but really the situation is pretty similar. You might want to email Tri Delta's Headquarters to verify whether they will be colonizing at your campus. You would need to email someone who is the Director of Expansion or Extension..something along those lines. I noticed that the www.deltadeltadelta.org website has a "Contact Us" button, where you can email. Good luck and may your Tri Delta wishes come true. PS - You want to read these Tri Delta magazines online: http://www.deltadeltadelta.org/trident/selected.htm They might mention an upcoming colony..you never know! :D |
