Wow, this includes groups that I would have never expected to be under conduct penalties including the senior class at the Nursing School and a Bollywood dance group.

Woah! Talk about putting it all out there! I, too, am surprised, and maybe even pleased, to see that they included all student organizations with violations and not just GLOs. I do, however, now have questions about what in the world is going on at that campus that so many organizations are getting suspended.

IU has a similar list available online. You can also see which organizations have been on disciplinary status in the last five years.

*sarcastic confetti!*

I've never heard of most of these groups!

Shows that it's just not Greek life and if you apply the same rules off campus you'll have similar issues.

Those nursing students are a wild bunch.

I like the idea of this list, but they really should limit the list to conduct no active student could possibly have been involved in. We recycle our rosters every 4 years and it's not fair to a student in 2019 to hold them responsible for conduct which occurred in 2014.

I was thinking the same. Are they planning to keep the historical info indefinitely?

It does make me wonder, not counting "banned forever" punishments (which I don't think anyone believes), what is the longest banned from a campus time that a group has gotten? I certainly have seen 5 years.

I know a brother who was active for 7 years, actually expected to be on campus for 6 years (a double major program that led to an MS will do that) and slipped behind by a few classes for health reasons.

There is (like a lot of schools) a large hazing culture. Several schools produce lists like this.

I havent done a massive search on other schools but when I can I look.
