I just learned my own chapter was previously a local sorority - I had NO idea. Always assumed it was a colony. (It's out 90th anniversary this year!)

The url will change soon, so we are waiting to roll it out. It will be a challenge to keep it updated, but I think it is a wonderful resource and I couldn't say no to the opportunity.

One of the fraternities that I expect to add to Wikipedia (Alpha Gamma Upsilon, I'm trying to complete the Alpha Sigma Phi merger) has a fairly complete chapter list.

Is there any expectation that this will extend to Professional Fraternities (and recognition/honor GLOs)

Hopefully by the end of the year.

I don't know if it will be expanded beyond what is already there. That would be a conversation with the Student Life Archives director and staff.

It is truly a lifetime of work and I am in awe of the effort and dedication put forth by its author. I am merely the person who will keep it updated. I appreciate any and all help from GCers in keeping this current.

Just skimmed it, and it looks great, nyapbp! Can't wait to have the time to read all of it. Are you going for a new Baird's (she asks with crossed fingers!).

It's not my body of work. I am just updating it. I can't imagine that anyone would produce another edition of Baird's as a book. It would be outdated before the first edit. That is the beauty of this online almanac. It can be updated on a monthly basis.

Thank you, though, as it is exciting to be a part of this project.

Slight error on page 55 of the Alpha sororities lists- Alpha Gamma Delta, Michigan Technological University is Zeta Epsilon, not Zeta Upsilon. Northern Michigan is correctly identified as Zeta Upsilon down further in the list. I used to oversee both and it was very tough to keep them straight :)
