The new issue of the Alpha Gamma Delta Quarterly came out this week. The cover story is "Not Your Mama's Rush." It's very informative for any NPC alumna/member -- especially those of us who have not been on campus for recruitment any time recently. You can read it here: https://alphagammadelta.org/quarterly/

The article was pretty good. I think it would be a helpful read for alumnae members who have been out of the GLO arena for a while. They may not be up-to-speed on how recruitment works now and I think the article did a decent job of explaining things.

I was surprised to learn that recs have been eliminated.

I believe it's the right thing.

But I am surprised.

While some groups have deleted the requirement, not all have...I assure you Delta Gamma still requires them....

As well as Alpha Delta Pi.

I liked the explanation of RFM, but I think that on some campuses the description of “values based” rush is more wishful thinking than reality. Eliminating skits doesn’t eliminate judging personalities or appearances (on either side).
