Hi,

I'm an international student and wanna know if I joined a fraternity in my country, can I join a fraternity in the states?

Truthfully there would be NO American Fraternities with Chapters outside of America and Canadian that we know of. So, if you come to America, you should be open to join any NIC Organization.

This is not true.

Zeta Beta Tau has several chapters at universities in the United Kingdom, and Alpha Epsilon Pi has at least one chapter in Israel.

OP, if you are in one of those organizations, no you cannot join a different fraternity. If you happen to be in a fraternity that is specific to the Philippines or Germany, you would be eligible to rush a US Fraternity.

Carl, we would be better able to give you an answer if we knew which Fraternity you were a member of and in what country...
