social games/iicebreakers

Does anyone have any good ideas for games or icebreakers that we can do at a wet social to get to know the other guys better?
If you could reply to this thread, it would help me out a lot!

my girls had an informal with sigma pi last weekend and they had a cute way of pairing off people. it was a 'construction theme' and each guy was given a screw (or a bolt) and the girls were each given a nut. each screw needed to find it's nut. it sounds kinda kinky but i think it is one interesting way to introduce yourself to a fraternity/sorority member.

I used to be an RA, so I know zillions of icebreakers...

one of them we called the "blanket game"... basically the entire group of people is split into two groups, and each group sits behind one side of the blanket. you have 2 people holding a blanket (or other opaque object) and when they brought it down, the person has to say the name of the other person first, the person who says the other person's name (correctly) wins, and has to bring the other person to their team. The game goes on until one of the teams is really small or gone altogether. You could probably change it around a lil to involve maybe squirt guns or something else for your wet social.

if you are also looking for other ideas for wet socials could be a water balloon toss.. the person who catches it has to say something about themself and if it pops they are out of the game ?!

hehehe.. sorry i know these are really corny, but hey, i learned them from campus housing :P

you might also want to try resident assistant sites .. they usually have TONS of icebreakers. www.residentassistant.com comes to mind.
