question
Although I am a junior, I have been thinking about trying my hand at COBing. I have a question for everyone though. My younger sister, who is a sophomore, is in an NPC sorority at another school - am I still considered a legacy of this particular sorority (which is also at my school) even though she is younger than me? Thanks!

I do believe so!
As long as she's your sister. :-) I don't know the official rules of that org (they determine the legacy recs), but if it weere me, I;d say yes! love, M |
Alpha Gamma Delta considers sisters no matter the age to be legacies!:) The AGD must be initiated; a New Member's sister would not be considered a legacy.

If the sorority's policy is to consider sisters as legacies, then age should not matter. Best of luck with COB! :)

For AZD, you would be considered a legacy...as long as you are her sister, it doesnt matter!

Same for Phi Mu!

Yay! Thanks everyone for responding :) My sister is an initiated member of Delta Delta Delta at Illinois State University!

Yes, I think for all NPC sororities (correct me if I'm wrong about someone's organization), you would be considered a legacy. I have never heard of one that says it has to be an older sister... just a sister.

WannaBeGreek, I have friends at ISU and was actually there recently during their rush- Tridelt is a very popular house during recruitment and I've heard nothing but good things about them! Your sister is a lucky girl!
