Interesting Situation
Hi ladies! We have an interesting situation up here at SDSU that we would like some feedback on. What once upon a time were the Rho-Mates up here have decided to join Sigma Alpha, which is awesome! A couple of questions:
1. Has anyone gone through this kind of a thing lately and have any suggestions on how to make it easier on everyone? There are eight active Sigma Alpha girls right now, and we have 18 mc's that were part of rho-mates and 5 mc's that weren't, so it could get really fun... 2. What are other chapters relations with AGR like? We are trying to figure all of that out at the same time and sit down with the officers and work all of this out! We are super excited about all of this, but we know it is going to be a heck of a lot of work for us, and we would appreciate any advice you could give us! MC Ceremony is tomorrow night, it should be a lot of fun. |
OK first of all what are Rho-Mates? I'm assuming that they are female friends of AGR.
Even so, what would be so difficult about that? |
Congrats on new girls coming out. When our chapter started the rho-mates had already died out. We had very good relations with our AGR and there were prior attempts at starting SA at NC State and those attempts were by rho-mates. At one time there were some rho-mates who wanted help out our chapter- I'm not quite sure what happened with them. We also have a CERES chapter and they were derived from farmhouse little sisters. That's why a lot of people think SA are the "new" rho-mates. Well good luck and I hope your ceremony went well!
