Annoucing our Newest Legacy
 

On Monday, September 30th I brought a new little legacy to the world.

Kyleigh Sloane Hope

2:43 p.m.

9lbs
20 3/4 inches long

Mamma and baby are doing well.

I do have to say that she's more than just an AOII Legacy! Her grandmother and great grandmother are members of Alpha Xi Delta. And if Alpha Chi Omega accepts nieces as legacies then she's one of those, too. Should she choose Pharmacy as a profession her daddy and great grandfather are Kappa Psi's.

Oh yeah. I hope this girl goes GREEK! But for now, I'll be happy to enjoy each day with her!

Oh, she is beautiful!! You must be so proud! I have 2 legacies myself and it is a wonderful thing. And what a beautiful name! Is this your first baby? How did Dad do? Sorry I'm full of questions, but I just love babies. Mine are in grade school now so I certainly miss those wonderful baby times.

Yes, she is our first!

Daddy couldn't be more proud. He was so anxious for the weather to clear up so that we could go for a walk and he could show off his little girl! he he.

We're doing good with the feeding things - he's sent me to bed several times so he could calm her down. And I've let him sleep when I really wanted him to be up with me! It's all a matter of compromise.

I can't wait to finally meet Kyleigh!!! She's so beautiful...and BIG! Treasure every moment, they get so big so fast :)
