graduate chapter volunteering
 

Hello! I have a question. I am volunteering with a graduate chapter in two weeks. I have wanted to become a grad chapter member of AKA for years. I have been going to open to the public events without any luck for about 7 years now. I have met a few people but they were not active. But, this is the second time I will be volunteering directly with members of the organization. I volunteered once before with them but nothing really happened. Do I just keep showing up to events and volunteering in an effort to get noticed? Can anyone from the sorority give me any advice on this? From time to time I do get discouraged, but my admiration for the sorority as an organization, community leader from their various service projects, and the sisterly bond that I see the members share makes me not want to give up on my dream as becoming a member one day. Thanks!
