Interested from South Africa
hi! i'm john (greek nationality) and I watched the BBC series on greek houses in the States.
i was intrigued by the organisation of each fraternity and sorority as well as by their ultimate functionality : to raise tomorrow's leaders, supreme court judges and scientists. i'm an Hons student in pure mathematics intending to do research in computer science. so, eager to meet students in the USA involved in fraternities or sororities, i went to the chat room at greek chat, to find everything except "greeks". rather i found greek nationals chatting, but no brothers. the BBC documentary has really sparked my interest and i could be visiting american universities and greek houses in the future. is there anyone i could correspond with to get more "real person" info on frat. and sororities. much appreciated and enjoy your day! |
You should post in the general forum. It has much more traffic than this one.

You could try to check out the fraternity's websites. For my sorority, it's alphaxidelta.org, and most other frats and sororities websites are like that. I would be glad to talk to you about greek life in general if you have any questions.
