Best recruitment stories for a fall PNM to read
Hi everyone,
My Darling Daughter (DD) is going through recruitment this fall at a Big XII school. She is a legacy but has been told by her all her Greek family members to go in with an open mind, and she will. She knows that being a legacy and having strong recs & LOSs might get her on the radar, but she has to do the rest of the work. Like many going through recruitment, she has a Type A personality. I certainly don't want to make her feel pressure or "freak her out" (her words) but I've been reading some really great recruitment stories on GC. I think they would be fantastic for her to read in order to see the process through another's eyes with advice given by alumni that are not her mama! There are a couple I will suggest she read (curlygirl and justamom) but wanted to know if there are others that y'all considered to be must reads. Thanks a ton! |

Click on Views This will sort the posts in the order of the most viewed to the least viewed. This way, you can get the most popular posts grouped together. Of course, take it with a grain of salt- some were popular because they were train wrecks, or fake. But most of the ones on the first pages when you do it this way are really great ones. 20 Something is one of my favorites. Lots of wisdom on that one. Good luck! |
A few of my favorites:
A Very COLORFUL Ole Miss Recruitment http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...d.php?t=143724 A UT Austin Toy Story Recruitment http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...d.php?t=135647 Retro Razorback Recruitment http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...d.php?t=116224 There are many more, but this will get her started reading. Enjoy! |
Thanks so much, ladies!

I would also suggest any recruitment story that happens to be at the school your DD is about to attend. There really are subtle differences.
Best of luck to her (and stock up on the wine!)! |
