Ideas Please!
 

I am now the social chair for my chapter and I would appreciate it if I could get some feedback on some great ideas for mixers! Thanks!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if you're looking for theme mixers or not, but here are a few I've heard of:

We recently just had a mixer that was dirty old men and school girls. All the girls wore plaid skirts and white button up shirts. The guys got pretty creative, some of them wearing shirts advertising viagra while others had some old looking sweaters on!! It was great!!

Here are two succesful socials we have thrown in the past.

A blacklight grafitti social. Get a place you can make completely dark and use only blacklights. Make plain white tee shirts with you organizations letters or name on it and get highlighters and everyone gets drunk and writes all over each other.

Another idea is a Nut and Bolt party where all the guys get a screw or a bolt and the girls get a nut and you go around and meet everyone trying to find the person who has the screw or bolt to fit your nut.

Yeah, laser tag or paint ball is an excellent idea. Cops/Robbers or Cowboys/Indians. Another is TWISTER. I agree that Skating is a good one.

Laser tag is fun but dangerous!! I got hit in the face twice! I had two huge bruises, one on my cheek and one right below my eye http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif

Are you thinking paintball, or did you actually get hit in the face by someone playing lasertag??

I got hit in the face by the actual guns of two different people. It was probably my own fault, I'm a pretty aggressive player. I don't like to lose...and we didn't.

Some of my favorites:

Dirty Old men and Catholic School girls (guys dress as old men and walk around with canes, the girls dress as Britney Spears clones)

Pimps and Ho's (the name says it all)
What would you do for X amoung of Money (use Monopoly money, two people who collect the most money by the end of the night win the prize)
