how do i deal with someone in another greek organization who is my best friend
 

Ok so heres something, how do you deal with someone who is your best friend but you dont agree with his fraternity and the way the boys act?

In my case my best friend is in a fraternity and he has done a lot for my sorority although lately i have noticed a change within some fo his brothers. They are acting as if they are better and superior to everyone else on campus. when i try to bring it up to him we get into a big agrument that leaves me in tears! which is odd because i have talked to him about it before and he actually agreed with me and now he takes it to heart. So umm thats something to think about...any advice:(

If you want to maintain his friendship, refrain from voicing an opinion of his brothers and his chapter. Even if he agrees with you, voicing a similar opinion would jeopardize his relationship with the chapter.

Basically, consider the topic off-limits and move on.

If you are going to comment at all on non-gentleman behavior mention it right away don’t wait a few days and be all yeah remember the other night at the party etc. If one of my brothers is not being a man of “CLASS” I want to know about it but I don’t want to listen to some Greek gossip hearsay.

I think Kevlar has a good point. If the behavior of his fraternity is directly affecting you (or your sisters), then that's the time to voice concern. If not, follow Barbara's advice.

One question...is he a newly intiated brother into the fraternity? Usually with new brothers, pride takes into a form of cockiness that generally wears off as they mature and understand the greek system better. If not, then i suggest giving him some space to make him realize how this attitude is affecting his other friendships.
