get to know u games
 

Hey everyone...my big and I are finishing up the final touches on our rush schedule, but we still need some ideas for "get to know you" nights. If you have any cool ideas that you wouldn't mind sharing I would appreciate it a lot! Thanks

We sometimes use a Jenga game and write numbers on the blocks. Then we make up questions that correspond to the numbers. It usually works out pretty good. You can also use it for drinking Jenga afterwards. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

yeah rush is dry. we like to play drinking jenga at parties or when I have people over at my house! It is really fun!

Cool! I want to try that now. How much do you drink? does it depend on how big the plop?

we always had you drink the number written on the blocks when you pull them out and if it fell over you had to chung a beer... btw this was way before i joined a sorority

Get a plain set and a sharpee marker. You can write all sorts of crazy drinking penalties on there. Each block you pull has something different. My fave was waterfall. Nobody else could chug as long as I could. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif I also loved the ones that would just baffle you. After a couple of turns how many people could still rattle off all the names of the members of NKOTB!?! If you couldn't do any you had to take five shots! Brutal!!!

I got a couple games...

1. You can give everyone a pipe cleaner, and tell them to make something that represents their personality. You really don't have to be that creative. Sometimes I make a circle, and say it's a CD... that I love music.

2. Give everyone a starburst, and have a question designated for each color starburst.

The way I made drinking Jenga is I wrote on the blocks with a black marker. Here are some of the things that I put on the blocks:

drink 1, drink 2, drink 3, finish your drink, make someone else drink, take a shot, etc.

We also have team jenga...when some people don't want to drink or don't drink but they still want to play they pick a partner who will do the drinking. It's really fun...my friends all look forward to playing it when they come over.
