Co-Workers You Dislike for 'No' Reason
 

Does anyone here have a co-worker you can't stand, and you don't know why? There is someone here who makes me cringe every time I have to call her department (I work at a college). I think the animosity began when I was compiling the faculty/admin pages for the college catalog. Sistah girl was just too busy to call me and tell me whether she got her degree, so we are running her name and title only, which I feel is too much. Anyway, HR just issued a notice today that her father passed away, and in a good will effort, I purchased a sympathy card and am mailing it today -- having lost my mom several years ago, I know what she must be going through. But am I the only person with this kind of drama at the job?

Well........everytime I disliked someone it's for/or was a reason. I can't think of any time that I've "hated" someone for no reason. It has got to be because of something said, how they looked at me, spoke to me or etc. But I do have a problem of sometimes looking down on some folks...........does that count??:confused:

Well, maybe "hate" is too strong a word. Perhaps I took the unreturned calls a little too personally!

that's ok......sometimes folks can make you feel like "hate"; although they shouldn't but they can!!!!!:D

Thank you for bringing this up! An incident last week jogged my memory on why Miss Thang ended up on my shiznit list. I am responsible for designing business cards, and my cover sheet instructions clearly say to send the art and the purchase order to me. She sent the work directly to the Purchasing Department, which I would not have minded had she called and told me where she was planning to send it. Gosh, can't people follow directions?

I have met several people in my life I just did not like and could not pinpoint why. Sometimes the reason comes to surface and sometimes it doesn't. But I follow my first mind and stay away from them. Not "HATIN" on anyone, just don't like.

There's a woman at my job who IRKS my last nerve. We were cool when I first started but ever since I politely asked her to let me do my job she's been rude to me. :rolleyes:

There will always be some people in this world that will give us negative vibes. Sometimes we forget what the person has done to us so we believe that we hate them for no reason.

There is always a reason for intense emotion. I know a few people I don't like just by the way they approach me.
