ZTA at IU on suspension
 

After I saw on here about Theta winning Little 500, I went online and was reading the “IU Daily Student” article when I also noticed a piece about Zeta Tau Alpha being put on suspension by their intl. headquarters...but no details.

Didn’t they just go through a headquarters membership selection and maybe probation recently over a Little 5 risk management issue?

Yes, that was in 2016. They lost about half of their chapter after that incident and then took a PC through COB of about 80 to bring numbers back up.

From what I have seen on that other Greek site, it had something to do with hard alcohol being present despite beer only mandate.

I think that's a ridiculous reason to punish a sorority or fraternity. Beer is disgusting and not everyone likes it. Plus you can get in just as much trouble with beer as with any other alcohol.
