"Housework" is Depressing
 

interesting article... hehehe.

I'd have to say yea housework is depressing because there are sooooo many other fun things that you could be doing!!!

while it may be "depressing".. sometimes it is just one of those things...

me for example, i cannot sit at my desk and study if my room is a mess.. i will go crazy... so i ALWAYS make sure my room is spot-free and i can see that bald guy on my floor before i can sit down and study.. :o

:confused: i don't know why.. but yea.. i'm like that :p

I don't need a study to tell me that... most housework puts me in a bad mood!

Maybe I'm just a freak :D but housework cheers me up. Seriously! Scrubbing my floor, cleaning my stove, doing dishes all make me feel better. When I'm upset or stressed out nothing makes me feel better than scrubbing walls or cleaning the oven. One time I was a lil drunk over at a friends house and I started doing the dishes . . . they told me I wasn't allowed because I was a guest and I started to cry! :confused: Apparently once I finished the dishes I was in a great mood . . . go figure.

I like a clean house so I don't mind house work. Its weird when I get depressed though I find myself doing housework to take my mind off whats making me depressed.

My parent's loved to make me angry cuz I'm a freak and clean when I'm pissed. So instead of going to my room to sulk, I'd start rearraning, cleaning, dusting..etc.
I don't find housework depressing. I like doing it cuz I feel like I'm getting stuff done. Plus if you keep on top of it, things don't get so bad and then you don't have to waste your time doing housework!

When I am p*ssed, I too clean like a mad woman. It is a stress reliever for me.

I hate all housework except cooking.

I also have a higher tolerance for clutter than my husband does... he gets fed up before I do, so he tidies up... I'm not complaining :)
