Worst haunted house experience? Ha....

Every year my chapter does a Grab A Date and goes to a haunted house.

So yeah... we get to the haunted house, which is being run by a Baptist Church (I think). It was scary alright... there were different rooms, and each room was telling you of different sins, such as abortion, suicide. We were so pissed about the false advertising.

To make matters worse, one of the dates, who is good friends with a lot of my sisters, used to work those "haunted houses" and just laughed at us when we all left.

Well, we were doing a double date thing when at the Ohio State fair had this Haunted House deal. Well, we were all walking through and all having fun at some pretty freaky stuff and laughing at each other getting scared and spooked by some of the dummies that jumped frm the ground and all. As my bf and I were laughing at our buds for jumping at the sight of a witch type deal, this skeleton thing comes out of this closet and since it has hanging arms it slaps me in the face!!! Ow!! Then, when my bf was trying to act concerned w/a muffled chuckle another dummy jumps up and scares the sh^t outta him, it definelty got him back! LOL But, I got a bloody nose out of it! :mad:

Every year Knotts Berry Farm in SoCal is converted into Knott's Scary Farm and it's basically a haunted theme park. The rides all become 'haunted' and characters roam the park freely and chase and and jump out behind things to scare the patrons. They aren't allowed to touch you, but they will get close enough that you can stick your tounge out and touch their noses.

Anyhow, I my pledge quarter I DID NOT want to go to this theme park because I admit it, I am a huge wimp when it comes to stuff like things popping out of coffins. The A-Phi girls talked me into going anyway, and I was on edge and jumpy the entire time (I swear these actors were targeting me). Finally I had it, and this ghoul thing came up right behind me and was growing, and out of instinct I just turned around and DECKED right in the side of the head.

He dropped straight to the ground and cursed at me, and I was immediately warned by a security guard that if that happened again I would be forced to leave.

Not bad for an 18 year old sorority girl?

It's no fun being a character in a haunted house! I did it one year and kids kept smacking and jabbing us and pouring things on us to show their friends how "cool" they were!
