we got 47!!!
 

i just wanted to announce that cal lambda got a total of 47 pledges this fall!!! i'm stoked as hell, and can't wait to get the semester rolling.

great to hear brother. we are starting the second day of round 1 today. we have 3 rounds. There is a total of 781 guys rushing this fall here at Ole Miss. If you look at it, there are appr. 2,500 freshman this year. about 50% are rushing. that's awesome. Well, I have to go man, got to get ready for the rushees.

i also wanted to update everyone...we now have 48! one more guy finaly decided to pledge. i also heard that there are 4 other guys who are still interested, so i will let you know.

Louisiana Gamma got the most pledges out of all Loyola University fraternities, an 85% return on all our bids. 22 Pledges. The next closest was Sig Ep with 60%, then ADG with like 35% or something... so sad :cool:

congrats buddy! do you have formal rush in the spring? we finished spring rush last week. we got 17 new guys, largest pledge class at sdsu again...

Yea we kinda do it backwards here. Most schools have a huge fall rush and a small spring rush. But, at Tulane and Loyola, its the exact opposite. The reason we do a heavy spring rush is so people arent brought into college only making greek friends. This way, freshmen get a semester to meet everyone, then rush. I was actually a fall pledge in a class of 5. I think our chapter has only done 2 fall rushes ever. Out of all the chapters with 50 members or less, I think we have the largest class this semester :D

largest doesnt mean the best

quality vs. quanity...
trust me we know it...we weed out the bad ones. there was no way we were going to initiate 47 guys in one semester.
at sdsu it is all about numbers. the house that can pull the most is top...we have pulled the most pledges in the fall, and now in the spring.
are you a phi psi? i looked at your signature and it did not say phi psi.

Thanks Josh, and indeed biggest does not necessarily mean best, but we are Phi Psis, so it doesn't matter how many we got. Whether we got 5 or 50, that's still 5 or 50 guys who made the right choice of a lifetime. ;)
