when you see the shirt you fell in love with but couldn't afford at $75 two weeks ago on clearance for $25!

when you first start dating someone and you are hypersensitive to every time they brush against you, they way they move around a room, and you can feel them looking at you in a different way than anyone else.

when you get online and hear "You've Got Mail"

when your brother/sister calls you just to say hi and tell you they love you.

when you can look around a room (whether family or friends) and realize that all of these people would do anything to help you in any situation?

when your cat/dog/ferret curls up in your lap, looks at you and blinks softly before laying down.

when you are praised by authoritive figures (teachers, bosses, parents) and you know they are being sincere.

when you realize you can stand on your own two feet and don't need anyone to hold you up.

when you find a picture of yourself that you genuinely like!

when you kiss someone for the first time and realize that they are good at it!

to get on GC and see all the funny responses to posts!
