Party ideas the guys would like

All you guys out there (and ladies w/ideas!)-

My sorority is looking for new ideas for parties that the guys would like. The western and 50/60/70/80s ideas have gotten a little boring. Does anyone have any good ideas? We want something new and creative. Thanks so much!

Alot of houses at my school are doing jungle themes this year. The guys get into it... loincloths and everything. Can be a good or bad thing... anyways I keep hearing about jungle parties the guys are throwing and they are a blast!

One of the fraternities at our school actually wanted to do a cocktail mixer with us, and it's been one of the best I've gone to. Everyone was dressed up, there was swing music or classical music playing in the background, and everyone had a blast. It just took mixers to a whole different level....and it was the guys' idea

Let's see... one of my chapter's favorites is the annual "war social," with Kappa Alpha Order. Each year, we alternate which chapter attacks the other (last year, the guys attacked us and we had their house to ourselves for about 2 hours beforehand to prepare). War social is a huge water fight that begins on the Sunday before the actual event and goes all week long. Last year it got a little out of hand with the boys throwing balloons in the university cafeteria, but it's still a lot of fun. Everyone gets dressed in fatigues and we had about 2000 water balloons. This doesn't work too well if you have an actual "house," and our KAs don't have a chapter-owned house, but theirs works out nicely because it's on a huge hill and it's pretty secluded. But other chapters could do it at a park or something.

Another thing that we were supposed to do this year with Pi Kappa Alpha was rent sumo-wrestling costumes and a mat and have a competition, but it didn't work out. Sounds fun though. I'm still a big fan of broomball... never tried the Greek wedding- Kappas on our campus do it every year though.

Sex & the City

I don't know if most guys would think it's cool, but next week we're having a Sex & the City mixer with a fraternity (they pride themselves on being a little classier than the others). We're all dressing up, drinking cosmopolitans, and talking about Mr. Big.

TOGA!!!!!Or one where you dress as playboy bunnies and they dress a Hugh Hefner

Here we are having a dismissed mixer (like the MTV show) with Alpha Xi Delta.

We pair 1 guy with 2 girls and go to dinner and at the end of the night 1 girl from the three-some is dismissed.

Anything down and dirty... maybe you could go play paint ball and then have a party that night. Also, Jello parties, foam parties, etc...

What about a beach party? Guys like girls in bikinis, right?
