Sequels Worth Viewing
 

To accompany the "Sucky Sequels" thread, which sequels do you feel are actually worth viewing?

The Indiana Jones trilogy. All of them are great films.

Grease 2 is a sucky sequel, yet one cannot deny the unmistakeable cheese factor. I think you can buy the video outright for about $3.99 (LOL)

The Godfathers... of course!

Also, can't wait for the sequel to Meet the Parents... what is it called, Meet the Fockers? :)

Since it's a trilogy, would any of them really be sequals to Raiders? It's like the Star Wars movies or Lord of the Rings. It was originally meant to be a series of movies. I consider a sequal, something that was made almost as an afterthought, like the Austin Powers movies, or Friday the 13th, or something like that.

Also, I think the Planet of the Apes movies are worth watching, although after the second or third one, they get pretty cheap. Even though these movies tell one long story, they're sequals (I think) I think the original movie was from a book, but the others weren't.

I think all the Die Hard and Lethal Weapon sequels are worthy of viewing :)

I think that American Pie 2 is better than the original.

I liked Grease 2. Oh well.

The Austin Powers Series and American Pie 2 are part of my classic movie selections

I liked Austin Powers 2, but thought 3 seemed like they were a teensy bit desperate for material. Rush Hour 2 was really good... it was funny.

Return of the Jedi & Godfather II are the best sequels.

Also, Grease II is amazing on a rainy Saturday, nothing is better than singing "Cool Rider" with Michelle Pfiefer (sp?).

The 2 sequels semi-fresh on my mind (from the summer) are Men In Black II and Stuart Little 2. All the little creatures from MIBII were sooo cute and Margalo and Stuart were adorable together!
