For all the new organizations out there I need some help. My sisters and I would like any suggestions on how to expand to other schools. We are a new group that was started in NJ. We are fomer members of a little sister group that has established something solid. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to GC! Well I think there are a couple of threads on this board that will be helpful to you and your sisters. But one thing I would suggest is to advertise at other schools about your group. This is the first way to form interest groups. People can contact you about more info and perhaps you and your sisters can hold informationals or open houses at these schools.
But take a look at these other threads on this board, there are a lot of suggestions on here already on how to go about this.

Expanding
 

Having a website that is very well done helps get the word out, as well.

You might want to have a discussion as an organization as to whether or not you will actively seek new campuses on your own, or just respond to women who seek you out first. I know of organizations who do both. It just depends on your preferred "strategy."

Speaking as a former Expansion Rep. (and Greek Advisor), it helps to establish a professional relationship with the administrators on the campuses you wish to expand to. This should be done from the beginning, so that everyone is on the same page. If you do not gain the support (and respect) of the administration, it may be very difficult to accomplish your goals later on.
