I just wanted to say congrats to my wonderful sisters of Theta Gamma chapter of Phi Mu @ FIU in Miami, Florida...

not only was this the LARGEST rush in FIU's history (commuter campus that is only 30years old) 396 PNM's but we ALSO made quota getting an amazing 40 girls!!!! Only 4 of the 6 sororities on campus reached quota :)

40 new wonderful ladies to bring into the sisterhood of Phi Mu!

WOW-OW!!!

We have 40 girls in our whole CHAPTER up here in Yankee-Land. I can't even imagine getting 40 at once......Our historical Sigma class was only 15 girls and that was momentous. How big is your chapter down there? And how big are the other houses on campus? Our quota was only 26 this year for rush at my school.

:) this was the largest class ever!!! well since our chartering in 1988,

also the largest rush in FIU history.. we had 396 sign up and a full 200+ completed the week..

we didnt reach quota through the actual week we were 6 short...but came up with the other girls that same week in COB...so we have 40 girls...

they out number us right now but hopefully we are having some older sisters who are not around and as active come back and help...
we had a chapter of 60 give or take a few cause of course not everyone comes around ALL the time

(we dont have houses since we are a commuter school.. so we all just hang around the student union together...)

so far its alot of fun...but its hard to get to know EVERYONE! there are soooo many of them! i saw a girl the other day wearing a pink ribbon from the ribbon ceremony and i dont recall ever seeing her during rush...but once i asked another sister i kinda recalled her from our bid day party...oh well

:) You'll get to know them. Don't forget how overwhelming it was to see all the sisters when you were a Phi! So at least you have that up on them -- you just have to learn the new girls' names.

I am a Chi O at Mercer in GA, but I just wanted to let y'all know that your Alpha Iota Chapter at Mercer got 27 amazing new girls who are such sweethearts. Phi Mu here is really great, and you should be proud of your classy sisters in Macon!
