Roommate website...
 

Hey all, I found a place to potentially live through www.roommateservice.com .. Has anyone ever used a site like this?? It sounds too good to be true, listen to this:

It's a house a few blocks away from campus, and from what I'm being told, it's huge... I'd be living with 5 other girls.. My own room, private bathroom.. Cable internet, two phone lines...Washer/dryer...And if i pay an extra 200 for the year and talk to the landlord, I can bring my dog!! Rent is only $255 a month plus 1/6 of the utilities...

What do you think???

I would want to get to know the 5 other girls first. It is very important to get along with your roommates.

How did the meeting of the roommates go? Or is that NEXT Monday?

I'd just be careful cuz I know my roommate had a terrible experience when I left her. She found this girl to take my place and then the girl ended up moving out on her in the middle of the night...leaving my poor former roommate to have to break the lease...plus she stole!

So, please be cautious. Make sure there is a set of rules that are followed. Otherwise it could end up looking like MTV's Real World....only worse!

anyhow, i went and met the girls on monday and have been there a lot since...(its only been three days, but hey, what can i say). the girls love me to pieces (all but one, but nobody in the house likes her either, so i guess ill just have to deal with her) and we're all so much alike...they love me to pieces too!!! the house is cool, they do have rules, theyre all strict about getting school work done...theyre just all awesome!!!! ill probably be moved in in the next couple weeks!! woohoo!!!
