This guy is claiming he has a 1932 pin but that chapter doesn't even open till the 50's. So at the oldest its a 50's pin.

Hmmm...it looks awful shiny to be that old. Maybe it was a typo...he might've meant 8 instead of 3.

If it does have a 32 on the back then it has to be one of the founding members pins which would be 1958 or 59. The number on the back is the number they are in that chapter.

He says it has "ZH 32" on the back - apparently the dumbass thinks the scroll number is the year the chapter was started. If you're going to brag about something get it right. Dumbass!

No kidding I emialed the idiot and asked him at the very least change the info. Threaten to turn him into ebay for false advertising.

Oh, sorry about that! I didn't know your fraternity still put member numbers on badges. My sorority puts the initiation year instead like a lot of other groups do...that's probably why this poor little pin-seller got mixed up. :)

Well actually ever since we switched to Burr Patt in 2000 there is nothing on the back. It has always been member number. I see how he might get confused but before he claimed such a thing he should have done some research its all real easy to find.

I doubt he cares...he probably just wants the dosh.

Update: Ebay is going to verify the chapters founding date. If they find out that I am right they are going to take it down.

Just because it has a scroll # engraved on the back and it is a low number doesn't mean it wasn't done at a local jeweler or engraver yesterday. Pretty simple to do.

Just wanted to nay say this dude and make sure everyone is using some logic.

The moron is back still claiming its from 1932. Oh well he will never sell the pin least to a TKE because none of us are stupid enough to believe its from 1932.
