Until I saw the thread of the NIC badges I always thought that KA Order and KA Society were really the same group. But they have different pins.

So which is the one that has the Southern Ball, or whatever it's called? There's a KA at State but now I don't know which it is. :(

you talking about KA order. we have one at state.

I think that KA Society has far fewer chapters than KA Order.
They have KA at U of Toronto and U of Alberta in Canada, but I always thought is was the KA Society at those campuses....

KA Society is part of the Union Triad. They are mostly located in the Northeast.

I go to Washington and Lee University, where KA Order was founded. from what i understand, KA Order is more widespread than KA Society. They also have the Old South Ball every year.

there is an old OX manual that has statistics of fraterties. They are out dated but KA society had like around 9-11. and Sigma Phi society, part of union triad, are small too.
