Augusta - The Republican gubernatorial candidate challenged Gov. Barnes to a gun contest using clay pigeons. Sonny Perdue says if he proves to be the better shot, he should get the National Rifle Association's endorsement. Barnes didn't respond. The NRA has publicly hinted that it would endorse Barnes, as it did in 1998. Perdue urged the NRA to choose wisely.

Sounds like fun. If I ever run for office, do you reckon I'd get to do that, too?
