there was this mantenance man at work? he also is a deacon at my aunt's church? he can pray a prayer? he always hooked me up with stuff, because he knows my people? he also helped me to move to my new place? he always looked out for me? I've been coming to terms with some news another person from the maintenance department told me last week? I've been dealing with this since then? I was soooo :eek:, yet :( ? I was told that this man has a child (outside of his marriage) that goes to our school? I'm sure you're saying, "that's nothing"? BUT? the thing is this child tried to commit suicide? he survived? he is now in a wheelchair? he cannot do too much for himself? he can barely speak? I'm sorry to say, he drools CONSTANTLY? I can handle it, because he is in the class I used to have? his "FATHER" denies him? :eek: the "father" has seen the son being pushed to class EVERYDAY or dayum near everyday? he didn't say ONE WORD to the child? nor did he try to wipe the child's mouth? NOTHING? his mother told my co-workers who his father was? EVERYONE, AND I MEAN EVERYONE WAS SHOCKED? :eek: now that I look at the child, I can see his "father" all in his face? ya'll, I am so outdone? word is the wife told the "father" that he was to have nothing to do with the child? I cannot get with that? since she accepted the affair, SHE SHOULD HAVE ACCEPTED THE CHILD? this kid has been at our school for 2 years? the "father" took a transfer? I knew something was not right about that? last week, I put the pieces together as to why he left? it was reported that the child tried to commit suicide because of a girl? we do not know if that's true or not? he could have been crying out because his father has denied him? ya'll, I have lost most of the respect that I had for this man? It's so sad? :rolleyes: |

Gym pet peeves HC's
HC Men (mostly) dramatically breathe and grunt as they lift entirely too much weight to do a complete set correctly. Geez ... I don't mind if you workout but save the drama for the theatre
HC (another "man" complaint)... please don't tighten the knobs on the equipment so tightly that I hurt myself adjusting them. HC don't sing loudly while on the treadmill .... The first time I heard this, I thought the chick was yelling for help :o HC some women come to the gym in full make up and pickled in perfume .... It's a GYM ... get sweaty :rolleyes: HC I can't stand people that don't carry a towel with them and don't wipe down the equipment after use. *YUCK* HC I can't stand people taking entirely too long in between sets. (Saw one woman reading page after page in a book in between sets). How Rude!!!! HC some women walk around the locker room butt nekkidd! Ok, we all have the same parts, and I am SO not a prude, but it's a public locker room - at least put a towel around yourself or something when you're walking around!!! No one wants to see ALL your privates right up in their faces when you're bending over to put on lotion, blowdry your hair or get dressed!!! DOUBLE, NO TRIPLE YUCK!!! :eek: :o HC I feel better now :D |

HC I hear you about the people who take forever in between sets
HC you just gotta ask to work in HC if you don't you could be there all day HC I HATE 5:00-6:30 at they gym HC rush hour! HC you can never get to the machines for the lines! HC other than that I really don't have too many gym complaints HC I found the BOMB protein bars! HC they actually taste REALLY GOOD HC Labrada Blueberry cheesecake- mmmmm HC VERY low in carbs and sugar (which I am currently doing my best to kick out of my diet) and has 30g of protein HC someone asked this earlier, but phytochemicals are chemicals that are made by plants- we take multivitamins to get a lot of them- antioxidants and such HC the problem is that science hasn't even come CLOSE to identifying all of the beneficial phytochemicals contained in fruits and veggies, and how they affect us HC even the ones that they have identified have been rather shadily tagged as benefical on little good evidence HC it might just as well be the interactions between these chemicals that gives us the benefits HC the above information was found inthe Harvard Medical School Guide to Healthy Eating, just so people don't think I'm pulling all this from some kooky website or aomething, lol. |
