I just became a pledge!!!!

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to share my happy news...

This evening, I became a pledge of the Gamma Mu chapter of Beta Sigma Phi!!!! I am soooooooooooooooo excited, the sisters of the chapter are so sweet and wonderful, the service projects the chapter does are just awsome, and the presentations at every meeting I've been to (to fulfill the requirements to become a pledge) have been totally cool and interesting... You've got to excuse my rambling, I'm a bit tired and way too giddy... I am just so excited at this opportunity of becoming part of this wonderful sisterhood!

Well, I hope to chat with all of you sisters here on the BSP board at some time or another!

Much love,
Nicole :D

Congratulations!

That's great news! As I posted earlier, I'm working on starting a chapter, so this is all new to me too. Good luck during your pledge period, and keep in touch.

Erica

P.S. I'm a brother of Alpha Phi Omega, too!

I'm in Omega Phi Alpha, which was started by Alpha Phi Omega. I would LOVE for there to be a chapter of Beta Sigma Phi here on my campus!!! I checked out the website and it looks like an awesome organization.

Start one!!!!

MTSUGURL....I just posted some information to you on my thread under "Chapter Operations," but if you REALLY want a chapter on your campus, take the intiative and START ONE! So far, I am having a great time networking with women on campus. This has been a great experience already, and I'm just getting started. The membership department at Beta IHQ has been wonderful! I feel so fortunate to be able to work with this organization.

Check out my "future" chapter's website:

Finally, I would really like to learn more about Omega Phi Alpha. How did it get started? I had never heard of it until I saw another one of your posts (or someone else on the APO forum).

Erica:)

Omega Phi Alpha is a national community service sorority started by the Zeta Kappa chapter of APO. We have about 16 active chapters, and ours is one of the smallest. This means hard work and ALOT of growth potential!!! (I'm trying to be optimistic ;) )
Our website is www.geocitites.com/omegaphialphamu. I've thought some about starting a chapter - they look like such a wonderful organization.
