Fraternity Rush T-Shirts....
 

I know that there are a million posts about rush t-shirts, but I need some help from my fellow fraternity brothers. We are trying to decide on a rush t-shirt for our spring 2001 rush, and we are probably going to go the route of an off-color, humorous theme. I know that the girls get offended by them but that is the way t-shirts are done at our school. If you don't want to post the **dirty** ideas, email me at sigtau_jake@yahoo.com

I saw a really obscene one....it's from phi delta theta in Florida somewhere, Basically, they are "dry", so the shirts said"we may be dry, but the girls are still wet"...gross, I know.
Another I saw was a condom type theme on the back of the shirt with the frat seal on the condom wrapper, it said Chi Phi,rush....for her pleasure. Both of these were pretty bad, but still funny in a gross way!

There was one that Lambda Chi did a few years ago that said "Girls prefer our dicks" and underneath it was supposed to be a picture of Dick Tracy. On "accident" the t-shirt company "forgot" to put the picture of Dick Tracy. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

WOW!! Those are a lot worse than we could ever use. I can't imagine making my way across our campus with shirts like that and not getting attacked by sometype of pro/anti group. The "for her pleasure" one might work though. Thanks a lot.

I never liked the off color ones. But the ones that played on the Godfather theme were always cool. My fav being "Never go against the family." http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Probably classics for our school would be,

Front: you might not like us

Back: But your girlfriend sure does.

We only did rush T-shirts for one year when I was in school. Which was fine by me, because I wasn't a big fan of rush T-shirts. Anyway, the theme wasn't dirty, but it was kind of clever...The Godfather. The T-shirts were black with gold lettering. On the front was "STG RUSH", with pictures of Brando and Pacino, and then underneath were the names of the guys in the house, arranged like the cast on a movie poster. On the back was our crest and the classic phrase "We'll make you an offer you can't refuse."

One of the fraternity shirts on our campus a few years ago had a gigantic ova on the back with sperm surrounding it and it said something to the effect of "Millions will try, only a few will succeed." I thought it was masculine enough without being completely tacky.

Kappa Sig has a national campaign, w/ "the most wanted men in america" . . . other good ones:
-We don't need little sisters, yours will do just fine
-all letters in a box, then yours on top "think outside the box" (think about it for a minute . . .)
-It's good to have high standards - you'll love the view
-etc. anything cocky will probably work fine, that's what all of them end up being anyway

One shirt that a fraternity on my campus had which really got attention was the picture of a house (with your letters on the roof) on the back and below were the words: "It's 3 AM...do you know where your girlfriend is?" A couple of my chapters t-shirts come to mind.

One semester we had a huge party(Bring It) and used that slogan and Rush Beta the next semester on our Rush t-shirts.

Another semester for Rush T-shirts we used a sketch we placed on the back that was made from one of our brothers back in 1905 called "Beta Grip" Its not actually our grip. Its a sketch of a young couple in formal dress embracing. It was a pretty cool Rush T-Shirt.

Other Chapters have used George W. Peppards picture and slogan from the A-team too for Rush.

I know you're looking for fraternity ideas...but ours is a long-sleeved tee (our awesome advisor had them made for us) and on the front, it has our letters superimposed on a lyre. Then, it has on the back..."Think for yourself...Rush Alpha Chi Omega". I know this is too meek for a frat's shirt, but I thought it was cool. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Hey darlin', check out Greek Creations on the web, they've got some interesting shirts, and they're really cheap.
