Hey everyone! So this weekend is the Lambda Chi Watermelon Fest and I was nominated by my house to be in the Pledge Pageant. Last year we won, so the pressure's on and I need some ideas!! The first event is like formal wear, but not formal wear...instead your supposed to wear a costume. Last year the girl who won from our house wore a catholic school uniform and tied her shirt up really high (like Britney spears...) So I need a costume idea. I've thought of all the common ones like cheerleader, fireman, policeman....I need something creative, but it needs to be something that a bunch of drunken fraternity boys would love!! Okay next is the talent part.... I have NO musical talent, so I need something for that. Last year our girl made balloon animals...I need something stupid but funny. The last thing I need is to write out my turn ons and turn offs and they are supposed to be funny. Last year our girl wrote like mullets and hairy backs for turn ons...ya know, just something funny and stupid. If you guys have any ideas I would LOVE to hear them! Thanks!!!

Well, I think it would be kind of funny if you were a dominatrix for the costume contest -- but that is a little risque, to say the least, and your Exec. probably wouldn't approve (just a guess).

What about dressing as a sexy little nurse with the cute hat? Or maybe a Girl Scout? Or you could be one of the girl characters from one of the Austin Powers...

I don't know about talents...

For turn-ons... "Lambda Chis, of course!"

A good talent for drunk boys is if you can tie a cherry stem in a knot in your mouth.

Yeah for costume I'd agree with the nurse... or a french maid. haha

For your costume, you could be a saloon girl...I'm sure the guys would love to see a barmaid.

We dont do the watermelon fest, we do the hot tub a thonl

We also do the weekly Western Week where evryone dresses up in Cowboy Stuff!

For a costume, maybe you could dress up like a bunny (kinda like Reese Witherspoon in "legally blonde") I think the guys would get a kick out of that!

Talent : how about the water glasses (like on "Miss Congeniality") and I'm sure the guys would think it would be hilarious for you to dress in a costume like Sandra Bullock did in the movie!

(No, I don't watch a lot of movies! :p )

Stupid-but-funny turn-ons: Guys who can burp your name and/or the entire alphabet?!

This sounds like so much fun!

I love the Girl Scout idea... how about dressing up as a sexy Girl Scout? You could throw out little baggies of cookies into the audience (is there a huge audience?).

I'm stumped on the talent section!

HAHA! Ya Deltasigstan....I'd probably be kicked out of my house if I did that!!!! Okay so we chose a talent for me....juggling. I can SORTA do it....so what the plan is we are putting an L an X and an A on each ball and Im supposed to say, this is how you juggle Lambda Chis balls...then when I drop them, I say, Oh well, you only have to be skilled with 2 anyway!! How embarassing is that gonna be!! I like the nurse and french maid idea....a girl in my pledge class's parents own a costume shop so we are going tomorrow to look...I'll tell you what I decide to do!!

LOL That is super cute! I wish I could be there to see you do that act. :D

Juggling act
 

Here's a good talent show.. You make a deal with the audience that for each ball you drop you take off an article of clothing. Wear a bikini underneath it all, and think of a few more jokes you can tell.

I like the cowgirl idea. It's cute!

Turn offs/ Turn ons?? Pick guys out of the audience and ask them questions about what they like and pick those thinks as turn offs or turn on's.

Walk out on stage with a guitar, hook up the amp, tune it, etc....

then whip some ridiculous instrument (like a kazoo) out of your pocket and play it.

Some hot guy did that for our KD King pageant.... and he won :)
