Recruitment Issues with "Sorority Life"

I'm just wondering - those of you who have gone through your Formal Recruitment Process or who have held CORs - what issues are the PNMs bringing up regarding this "lovely" show on MTV?

I'm curious - are the PNM questions still the same or have they had a twist thanks to this show?

Although we don't have rec. till this weekend, we have already started discussing our reply to questions. We have gotten a lot through open house and around campus, and we know there will be many more to come this weekend. A lot of us agree that Sigma made a careless decision when deciding to go on this show. MTV exploited them. One of our members is best friends with someone on ths show. She has mentioned that MTV only took the bad things and showed them, and made many things look differently then they really were. That is easy to believe...but hard for an outsider to see. We talked about mentioning that this was a TV show and that obviously things were shown out of context. We agreed not to constantly put down the show or say antything like "Oh we are NOTHING like those girls". To show such dislike of any kind will just make us look like we are not supporting other greeks. We also agreed to be honest if any questions come up about the amount of drama...of course if you have a house of 70+ girls, there will be drama. MTV made it look like it was constant, and that is not true. So we think the best way around any questions is just to show support, mention that is was a TV show and designed to show drama, and then continue with teliing them what our sisterhood does offer.
